Bought 3 bearded dragons -- all died within a week. Staff was not empathetic or sympathetic. Horrible place was horrible staff.
I absolutely LOVE the service here! The staff are very kind and helpful, and helped me throughout adopting my new cat, Zoey! It is very clean and organized, and very easy to find what you need fast!
Very clean and tidy. The staff was extra cheery. And I just love all of the animals.
The other day I went in to look at their betta fish. One of mine just passed due to a sudden ammonia spike, and after the tank stabilized I was ready to look for a new friend. I really wanted a super red crown tail, but they didn't have many crown tails. But there was this one little blue guy who was pretty sick: malnourished (most of them were) heavy breathing, and swimming lopsided and even upside down. He was pretty ill, and I wanted to help him out. I asked one of the employees if I could get a discount, and she said she'd go ask her manager. She came back and said "I'm sorry, but we can't give discounts on sick fish. Even if they're on the brink if death we don't do that." Consider that. On the brink of death. They won't let a sick fish (technically a damaged product) go for any less than full price, even if it means that fish will die. They clearly have no respect or care for their animals here. I will not be shopping here again, and I implore others to not support this store. Other PetCos are fine, but this store does not deserve your support.
Very knowledgeable empmoyees. Super friendly. Asnwered all our questions and more. Clean. Animals and fish look healthy and happy which is nice to see. Love this store. Better price on reptile goods than Petsmart.
